One of the long time best sellers in my shop are these Cherry Blossom shower invitations. Lots of bridesmaids are throwing showers with an infusion of Asian elements in the decor and food. One of my recent clients was even having her guests enjoy sushi on floor cushions in traditional Japanese style.
I found a back issue of one of my craft magazines with a recipe for dessert sushi! I dug around the interwebs to find a digital version of the recipe to share with you. Try this one, this one, or this one! All of your guest may not like to eat traditional sushi and sashimi, but you're sure to please everyone with Tiramisushi!
Wash down your little dessert rolls with an Asian Pear Sake cocktail.
All of these food and drink elements will really be complemented by a bold tablescape, like these ones that I found over at the Hostess with the Mostess blog.
At the end of the day, send your guests home with darling custom fortune cookie favors!
And don't forget--you'll need to send thank you notes! These would be perfect, wouldn't they?
I love these picks! Great ideas (:
